“Great fun on the Beer Train Tour” I recently took the San Diego Beer Train tour from Downtown to Carlsbad. The experience was great. I got to learn about and enjoy local beer and cuisine. Only $82 each** (Does not include round trip train ticket which is an additional $11 per person/$5.50 for seniors.) Saturday Beer Train Tour: Only $87 per person. Group discounts available. Tour begins at 11.15am downtown and ends at 4.45pm. Tour runs M-F with some Saturdays available. This tour is easy to get to from most San Diego locations using public transportation (trolley, train, bus). Tour includes a total of about 1.5 miles of walking (walks are about 15 minutes at a time). *Offerings may vary. **Does not include tour guide gratuity, or $5 per ticket handling fee.
